Looking for an option to Exclude rows from Dependencies/Predecessors

Currently, the only way to exclude a row from the Dependency/Predecessor function is to delete the row. This causes any Dependency/Predecessor reference to the row to change to #REF, which does not break the associated date row, but skips the #REF.

Preferably, we would like to keep all rows, but have an option to exclude the row with a checkbox or some other marker so the row is no longer accepted as an active Dependency/Predecessor.

Ideally, the marker/checkbox (?) would change any reference to the row to become crossed out, rather than removed or #REF. Then if the checkbox was turned off, any crossed out references would become active again.
