PMO within a PMO - creating sub-projects for one existing project

I have an extensive PMO setup and working well. I need to create a sub-project within an existing project. The idea is to track sites that are associated with a project. Is there a best practice for this?

There will be about 100 sites that need their own project plan, dashboard, etc., and should roll up to the primary project. The primary project rolls up to the portfolio.

Are you using already Control Center? I think that would be the best way to keep the proper structure.

Otherwise you just need to make sure that you keep the proper hierarchy of rows in the sheet and structure of assets in the workspace.

Yes, control center is used for creating subprojects (automatically) to summing up together all the data in the main project (this case portfolio).
