Feature idea: Improve clean out multiple contacts in "column properties" dropdown list

Hi there,

My company would like me to clean out the retired emails (contacts). There are almost 500 contacts in the column and I need to clean out about 60 contacts.

However, I can't search and delete because it won't allow me to delete after searching. I need to go over the dropdown list one by one to look for the contacts, otherwise, the "edit" and "delete" icon won't show (Please see attachment).

Hopefully in the future there is a better way to manage contacts in dropdown list inside "column properties". Thanks for your attention and hopefully will see some improvement in the future.
