Hi Smartsheet Community,
I wanted to share an issue I’ve encountered that may be affecting others as well. Recently, users who view published reports have been reaching out to me, concerned that they no longer have access. After investigating, I found that this issue occurs when users are not signed into Smartsheet.
Previously, the message displayed for these users included a "Sign In" button, allowing them to log in and view the report seamlessly. However, the current message (screenshot attached) no longer includes this button. This change has led to confusion, as users are under the impression they’ve lost access entirely, often escalating the issue unnecessarily.
Here’s the current experience:
This has created a frustrating user experience. I recommend adding the "Sign In" button back to this message. Ideally, after users log in, the published report page should refresh automatically to display the content. This would restore the smooth functionality we had before.
I hope Smartsheet can address this issue promptly, as it would improve the overall user experience and reduce unnecessary escalations.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I’d love to hear if others are experiencing the same issue.

Hi @Jeremy W.
I'd like to help clarify this message! If your users are fully logged out of Smartsheet, they'll see this screen:
The message you have screen captured above is only shown if someone who is already signed in tries to access the link, but the account they're using is not authorized to view the content. Does that make sense?
