"Include Parent Rows" option available in Reports --- Similar to Sheet Filters

I have a Project Plan and would like to have a dashboard showing reports for Tasks coming due. The issue is the Task in a row without the context of the full Hierarchy is difficult to understand. I have looked at many workarounds that are showing up online including Parent Row and Full Hierarchy in one field solutions but they just do not work well and are clearly workarounds. In my opinion, there is enough workarounds posted in various forums to warrant this as a feature in reports without all the workarounds.
