Clarification on Automation - Run Now
Hi all,
From what I've read, using Run Now will ignore the Trigger conditions. This wasn't obvious to me but this seems to include everything in the Trigger box including the highlighted and segmented "Trigger:" condition and the filter directly below it. Can anyone confirm I'm understanding this correctly?
If true, in the example below I would need to duplicate the condition filter from the Trigger box by using "Add a condition to filter rows" if I ever want to use Run Now without applying the Automation to every row.
This seems counter intuitive to me, to duplicate the filter condition, so just looking to confirm. I was using Run Now to clean up some pilot projects we ran thru and almost got myself into trouble here!
Thanks!

You are correct. The Run Now ignores the trigger completely and only evaluates the condition(s) if any. If you want to use the Run Now feature on the above, you would want to include a condition to match the trigger.
