The Smartsheet integration with Resource Management should provide fully sync of column in Smartsheet task list. Currently only the column "Task, Assigned to, Allocation Hours, Start Date and End Date" are sync to Resource Management. One of the purposes of integration should help in maintaining up-to-date project statuses across platforms.
Really is insane that you cannot see the same status across a sheet and the resource planner
I totally agree. It is almost redundant to have to ask a project team member to update a project plan in Smartsheet as well as complete and update dates in Resource Management. It should fully sync project information especially from the project plans.
In the same way that other fields can be syncronized between smartsheet and resrouce management, it would be good if the complete and status field could be syncronized to avoid having to update the state and completness of tasks in two different tools. As a consequence of this, two more fields would need to be added and mapped from smartsheet to RM. See illustration below. Proposed field outlined with red.
