Shared Permissions, sort?

Hi Smartsheet,
I think the Shared pop up has changed slightly in the past 3-5 months. How can I sort the Shared users by permission set? I need to reach out to just the group of admins of a specific sheet.
Thanks!

Hi @Eric B
The new view came out with some new functionality. One cool thing is you can add a message when requesting access which helps the owners and admins understand why someone is requesting. One thing I'm not a fan of is how permissions are no longer sorted by level. I don't think there's an option to change that view. If they get enough negative feedback about that part, they may revert that change.

Hi @Eric B. and @Ray Lindstrom!
After testing, I believe the functionality to sort by permission level is still available, but there might be a bit of confusion. In the sharing popup, right below the new "Customize message" option, you should see a section labeled "People with access." This section lists all members who have access to the sheet, along with their permission levels. For clarity, I've added images below as a reference.
If the member is shared through the workspace where the sheet resides, the permission level shown in this tab will reflect their workspace-level access, not just the sheet's. For more detailed information on permissions, you can refer to the Sharing permission levels and tasks help article.
I hope this clears things up!

Hi @Isaac A.,
Thank you for engaging!
That's exactly what I thought it was doing.
What it used to do is group people by permission level on the shared list. All Admins were listed first in alphabetical order. Next were all Editor - Can Share people listed alphabetically. Next was Edit -Cannot Share also listed alphabetically. And so on and so forth.
Now you can only see everybody in one master alphabetical list. The icon for the workspace or sheet is irrelevant as that was always there.
My personal preference was the way it used to be since I often wanted to see all Admins at once or all Editors at once, and not the new master alphabetized list regardless of permission level.
All the best,

Thanks @Ray Lindstrom and @Isaac A. ,
I agree with Ray's "My personal preference was the way it used to be since I often wanted to see all Admins at once or all Editors at once, and not the new master alphabetized list regardless of permission level."
When there's a couple dozen teammates shared to a Sheet the organization on the permission hierarchy makes reading things much much quicker.
Thanks,
Eric Bendzinski
