Adding Google Looker Studio to Smartsheet

We are now using a new capability in our company called the looker studio to chart some dashboards and it has proved to be excellent. It's just that we don't have a way of incorporating looker into Smartsheet, if that could be done we could have a two way route between the two tools and derive maximum output from our work.

My request is that the developers should also create a connector which allows us to connect Smartsheet easily to google looker studio. The reasons for this are simple as follows

1. Most of us don't have complete version of Power BI so sometimes it becomes difficult to display the dashboard lively sine u will have to keep refreshing it manually.
2. Looker studio is a cloud tool and u also have a variety of options there.
3. We already have a connector for Smartsheet and Power BI so if even this thing is also implemented it will be really helpful

Hi @akhalid - thank you for suggesting but none of those links are Verizon approved.

With larger corporates such as Verizon, all software, tools and extensions have to be "company approved" to manage confidentiality protocols. We have business plan for Smartsheet with paid licenses for hundreds and thousands of team members that caters to the teams independently. I have access to all the premium apps offered by Smartsheet and would like to have an extension to include looker studio but we can't just use any unauthorized software connectors.

You're absolutely right — trust and security are paramount in large organisations. It makes total sense that Verizon would prioritise confidentiality and stick strictly to approved tools, even if that means taking a longer route. In environments where trust is a core concern, the safer path will always take precedence over speed or convenience.

P.S. I feel like you replied to this a while ago (maybe on a different thread???)

Yes - with our organization, it is imperative to follow the security protocols and we can only use Verizon approved software hence the product idea for Smartsheet :)
