Can I insert "Tiggering User" into alert email Text?
When creating and automation alert SmartSheet allows you to register the "Triggering User" within the email address of the sender.
However I would prefer all our emails to come from "SmartSheet Automation" but it would be good if the Triggering User name can be included within the body of the alert email text.
Does anyone know if there is a way of inserting the Triggering User name into the email text in a similar manner in which a cell is inserted using {Column Name}?

Hello @Ray Neave - I would assume using the Modified By column would identify the person that triggered the automation to be sent. Does that work?

Hi @Michelle Choate 2 ,
Thank you for your suggestion.
The automation that I setup was to inform the originator of the name of the person adding a comment via the conversations function. The sheet includes the "Last Comment" column and a "Comment Date" column which is updated within the automation to send the email to the originator.
When this automation is triggered the "Modified by" column is populated with the text "automation@smartsheet.com" and not the user name, I can understand this as the sheet has been updated by the automation. Curiously I removed the "Comment Date" section of the automation and the "Modified by" was populated as "decision.system@smartsheet.com".
Also I have a Form to populate the sheet and was expecting the "Modified by" column to display the User Name of the person filling in the form. However when the form was used this populated the column with the "automation@" name and using the "Created By" column did not work either as it populated the cell with "web-form@".
At present I do not feel that there is a way to achieve my objective of inserting the Triggering User name into the email text.
Regards,
Ray
