Anchor Jumping? Avoid the scroll

Hi I believe I submitted this way back but nothing has updated. I am wondering why Smartsheet cannot build a feature where I can put a text link lets say on rows 1-4 for example:

Row 1: Expenses - click on this linked word and it jumps down to line 204

Row 2: Estimates - click on this linked word and it jumps down to line 586

My company has really long sheets and this would be helpful. At this time you only have the option to link to a row but it opens another tab instead of just moving the page to the correct line. Because of this we cannot use the row link feature because it causes more steps to be created.

Also the lack of color spectrum for rows and columns makes it so we are limited in options and our sheets or reports look too similar.
