Is there a calendar view for the mobile app?  We are only seeing a grid and list view.

Jennifer - there is not a calendar view on the mobile app yet. Currently you can view your sheets in grid view, list view, or the Gantt chart. One option is to publish your Smartsheet calendar to your phones calendar using the Google overlay function or the iCal ICS file.

  • Hi,

Is the calendar view for the adroid ap on the roadmap? If so, when do you expect this to be added?

It's the one thing we're missing.

I don't have a set timeframe but it is something the mobile team is looking to implement in the future. Currently, they are working hard to release a fully interactive grid which will greatly enhance the usability and functionality of the mobile app. Expect to see big updates in the future!

Publishing the sheets to google or outlook does not update very quickly or sync well at all.  A calendar version for the Mobile app would be perfect!  Also we need the addresses and phone numbers in smartsheet mobile to be recognized by phones so they are clickable and go straight to dailer or navigation.

  • Having calendar view for mobile would be perfect for our company as well.

Also, is there a way to get phone numbers and addresses recognized by mobile devices so when clicked it goes straight to dialer or navigation?

Thanks for the suggestions Stevan! I'll pass your feedback along to our product team.

Due to the way Android handles phone numbers, they are not clickable in the app right now (they are clickable in the iOS app). We are working to get this functionality added in future releases.

  • Is this the same for addresses?

Hi Stevan, sorry for the delayed response. Yes this is the same for addresses.

  • Any news on whether your team will add the calender view on the modile app? My team really wants that as they love the calendar view for scheduling techs in the field.

Connie - our Mobile team is planning on adding a calendar view but I dont have a timeframe for this at the moment.

In the meantime, I would recommend publishing your Smartsheet calendar to Google Cal or using the iCal publish option to get your Smartsheet calendars on your mobile device.

  • I've been able to publish the Smart Sheet calendar to my Outlook Calendar.  However, before I roll this out to our 250 users, some of my test users have asked to see the calendar on their iPhones.  Do you have instructions to add the Smart Sheet calendar to the iPhone calendar options?  THanks.

  • Jim, ICS files (which is what Smartsheet uses) are standard calendar files. Most calendar applications (including the default iOS calendar app) support this. Just Google "how to add ICS files to *calendar name* on iOS"

Any Update on adding a calendar view in the mobile app?  Is there anything we can do to bump this up the road map? - it is extremely important to my field guys.  For example, we have a Leads who are reponsible for 3-4 projects, and they can only see their project together on a desktop utilizing a report, and then the calendar view.

Otherwise they have to over scroll on the mobile gant, but the gants are segmented and you cant see the activity across all projects for a week or a 2 week time frame.

    Please advise on status, thanks!

  • 2018 and I can't see the calendar or get contact details from my mobile app. Is this ever going to happen?

  • Did you get any answer Jef?
