Reports - Summarize % column not returning as %

Hi all,
I've got a report set up to average the percentage completion across rows to return an aggregate percentage. The math is working, but the value that the report returns (and ultimately shows up on my dashboard) needs to be shown as a percentage, and ideally rounded off.
The source column is formatted as %, but I'm not seeing anywhere in the report setup that I can control the formatting of the output result of the summarization.
Any help would be appreciated. A sheet summary formula workaround isn't going to be suitable here as I need this to keep up dynamically with evolving categories. The report is doing the job almost perfectly, just need this to be formatted appropriately.

It looks like it may be the average of everything under each category and not the overall category % Average. I do not think there is a way around that. At least that I have found.

Rob,
The report should be summarizing as a percentage if the source column is set to %. It looks like you have everything set up correctly to me, so I would report this as an issue to Smartsheet Support.
It seems like some users have encountered this issue before and it was resolved, as seen in this Community post from 2023.
Thanks,

Thanks @AngB789, I would want this to be averaging the row data rather than the average of averages, so that part is fine, it's just the formatting as a decimal value vs. a percentage. Looks like this may have some precedence so I'll be looking into that.

Thanks @Marilla Flynn, I'll look into that and put in a ticket. I agree this all looks like it should work.
I would understand some potential for issues if the underlying percentages were formula-driven, but these are text-based percentages. That said, this % Complete column is currently a dropdown list of pre-set percentage values, I may play with that and see if this resolves if set back to a true manual text entry.

@Rob W. I tested a report on my end with a dropdown list of pre-set percentage values, and it still summarized correctly for me. As long as your % Complete column is also set to % format, it should be summarizing that way, even with a dropdown column type. Hopefully Support is able to assist!
