DataShuttle import if source sheet changes, but name remains the same

I've just started working with DataShuttle to automate a few of our reports.

We pull these reports weekly from SAP as an excel file, what we want to do is replace the file each week with the new file. These always download from SAP with the same name (EXPORT.XLSX), and I was wondering if this will effect the upload, or if we would need to copy the data from the new report into the source file each week in order for the upload into Smartsheet to work correctly?

Changing the file out in our tests didn't seem to effect the shuttle itself (The file name doesn't grey out), but I did notice that the data in one of the columns didn't appear to update until I went in and re-selected the source file.

@Galadriel975 Data shuttle looks at the underlying Excel file ID number, so you want to "update the version" of the file on Onedrive- but it has to remain that same file in the same location. SO you would choose "replace" and it will create a new version like this below.
Doing this will preserve the original file identifier and the workflow in Shuttle won’t need to be altered

@Galadriel975 question to make sure I give you the right answer- are you manually attaching the file to the Smartsheet or is it living on Onedrive Google Drive or Box?
