Linking my pacing sheet to a dashboard - if the date column is Today, return the total hours for the

Hello,

I am trying to set up metrics for a lab testing schedule. I have created a pacing sheet which is set up to show how many hours of testing each analyst is assigned that day. The left column is the date, and the column next to it is the total hours assigned for the day.

I would like my dashboard to show the total hours assigned for the day and then report that for every day going forward. This is the formula I had been trying to use to report the days total assigned hours, but I am getting unparseable.

I would also like it to show how many hours each analyst is assigned for the day. For example, a metric saying that TODAY TOTAL ASSIGNED HOURS = 18 and then some sort of table saying: TODAY'S WORKLOAD = John = 7hrs, jane = 10hrs, etc.

I also attached a copy of my pacing sheet.

I'd add a helper column with Year - week and then do this with a report group by that column and sums on the columns.
