Unable to view the full legend in Presentation Mode in dashboard

Hello Smartsheet Community,

In my company we use Smartsheet heavily and in one of our dashboards we have stacked column charts visualizing a number of markets' values. You can see the legend in the 1st screenshot below.

Our Problem

In presentation mode clicking on the +7 more doesn't bring up any pop-up whereas in the normal mode clicking on the + categories would bring up a pop up displaying the rest of categories (see the second screenshot)

This is important for us because with this legend we can exclude any particular category's values from the visualization. For example, clicking on United Kingdom would remove its values from the viz.

Is there any workaround or solution to this issue?

I'd recommend splitting the chart into multiple charts instead - have one that shows larger geographic regions (US/Europe/Asia etc) and then smaller charts that show the stacked bar chart for each region. Purely as a matter of conveying the information it is likely to be MUCH more successful; there is no way to meaningfully look at the bar-to-bar performance of an entry that is typically in the middle of each bar when the starting vertical height bounces around excessively. This will solve the issue you are having AND increase the insights that can be gained from the graphic.

I'd recommend checking the recommended practices from Edward Tufte (www.edwardtufte.com)and Cole Knaflic (www.storytellingwithdata.com).

Thank you for your suggestion. I am aware that your suggested approach is the way to go, the first time I saw those graphs that's what occurred to me. I learned that it was the commercial audience's ask to have them this way. I will suggest a makeover to effect the change next week.

For now, I assume it's not possible to see the legend in presentation mode
