I am working on a project for a client, where they want to have dashboards built out for data analytic purposes that update automatically. The client already invested money into data shuttle, so data is automatically going to pull from the different data sources. Given that Smartsheet dashboards have limited analytics features (e.g., no live filtering, dual charts, or trend lines), which approach makes more sense:
- Use Data Shuttle → Smartsheet → Connect to Power BI → Build dashboards in Power BI with automated refresh
- Same as above, but embed Power BI visuals back into Smartsheet dashboards
Are there better alternatives for achieving dynamic, analytics-driven dashboards? Open to suggestions!
