Hello, I have searched and read and cannot find an answer or anything to help me solve my problem.
I am trying to duplicate a form within the same sheet and all the fields and help text associated with a template form.
Situation:
I am attempting to create a post-project stakeholder list form for our completed projects. I want to collect project stakeholders data via the form from the Project Manager and to have that stakeholder data populate within the same sheet.
I have created a ‘template’ form to be ‘copied’ for each project. I want to duplicate the template, change the Form Name, default the Project ID, Project Name and Project Manager Name on a ‘duplicated form’ so I can send the form to specific Project Managers and collect their stakeholder names.
Problem:
When I ‘duplicate’ the template form, it only copies the form name and does not copy the fields and/or the help text from the ‘template’. I do not want to have to manually create the form for each separate project.
Questions:
Is there a problem with form duplication functionality for the same sheet?
Is there a setting or something like that preventing the copying of each field & help text?
Does the form have to be active to be duplicated?
Is there another way to duplicate a form for the same sheet, other than through Manage Forms?
Any suggestions on what to do here? I have tried multiple things with no success. Thank you.
