I'm checking out the new Linked Columns feature in Table View and loving the idea of it, and that has me wondering if there's currently a way to link the options in a dropdown to the current list of all people in a Group within our smartsheet team.
Example: I have a group that contains all users who are on our inspection team, and I have a dropdown column that is available when conducting an inspection to confirm who is doing the inspection. (Yes I do have a separate "created by" column but there's other information connected to this cell that doesn't work with that type of column from what I've seen, like then sending automation emails based on the contact name inputted.)
Currently, I have to remember to manually update that column every time we add or remove someone from the team. I'm wondering if there now exists a way to set it up so the dropdown options automatically display only the current members of the team? If not, would the best current option be to create a sheet that we manually update as people are added and removed and link the dropdown column to that, or is there a better way out there?
