Conditional formatting in new views, now generally available!

Conditional formatting allows you to automatically update the appearance of cells or rows when specific criteria are met—for example, highlighting a completed task in green or bolding a flagged row.

Previously, creating or managing conditional formatting required switching back to legacy views, as this capability wasn’t available in the new views. Now, the same conditional formatting experience from legacy views is fully supported in table, board, and timeline views, closing a key gap and laying the groundwork for more advanced and intuitive enhancements in the months ahead.

I use conditional formatting and it is always a great feature. Is there any consideration to allowing the conditional formatting be a driving force when filtering? Similar to Excel, you can filter a column based on a color. I would find this to be valuable. Thanks

With conditional formatting now available in table view, which is great :-), how about levelling it up with all the great product ideas sent in?

Great idea! Color-based filtering tied to conditional formatting is a strong use case, and we can see the value.

We’re actively improving conditional formatting in Table View with enhancements focused on scale, design, and usability (including features like an easy rule copy and expand/collapse all). Color-based filtering isn’t supported today, but this is exactly the kind of feedback that helps shape our roadmap.
