Lookup Value and Count based on the input criteria

Hello Team,

I am trying to bring a formula to look up a value and bring the corresponding counts.

The input sheet will look for the "Date of" column and dynamically generate the Yesterday or Today value based on the formual i have written for "Yesterday/Today" column. There is a person going to enter #New Hires, #Leavers, #Movers value based on the calendar date.

I need to write a formula to lookup the Today and bring the column counts against each output.

I would suggest an INDEX/MATCH.

=INDEX({Column To Pull Over}, MATCH("Today", {Yesterday/Today Column}, 0))

Hi, I recreated your scenario below and included screenshots.

I made the yesterday/today column a formula to auto add that information. On you "1 Today Metrics" sheet, I used a vlookup with "Today" as the unique identifier. I hope this helps.
