Good afternoon, I created a webform that useres could input data to even though they may not have a smartsheet account. Is there a way for any user to submit the form, and then have it come to me directly for approval before populating the sheet?
No, the data would always populate the sheet first.
An option might be to have the webform they are using populate a "temporary" sheet where you can review the information they submit and, if approved, use the row action menu to move to the entry to your actual data sheet.
But the problem is you may need to use 3rd part software to copy info from one sheet to other sheet.. like as Zapier. Quite difficult to use
I find Zapier's integration with Smartsheet extremely easy to use. My main complaint is the scalability, but that is what I use the API for.
