Alerts/Notifications based on cell color

I would like to create an alert.  If a cell turns red in a delivery date column, email PM assigned to PM column and another editor within the sheet.  Do not see how to establish an alert just based on change of color.

Hi Kelly,

There currently isn't a way to create alerts based off of cell color changes.

With that in mind, it sounds like you might be using conditional formatting to have the red color applied to your cell automatically. I'd recommend that you try using the same criteria in your alert that you've set up in your conditional formatting rule.

For example, if your conditional formatting rule turns the cell red if the date is a certain amount of days from today's date, then create an alert that sends an email with that same criteria.
