Data privacy in community app

I'm new to the fantastic community and have a question re data privacy. When registering with my Smartheet details I was required to allow the Smartsheet Community App to "Read Sheets, including attachments and comments". I presume that this simply means that the app is allowed to verify my account, rather than that my fellow community members can directly read my content. Is that right?

Hello,

You're absolutely correct. We use your Smartsheet account to create a community account. That message is from our API; stating that the community app (but not community users themselves) can read sheets with that level of authentication being allowed.

We haven't designed a mechanism for sheets to be read or published through the community, so you're safe!
