Recurring / repeating tasks & time

I know this has been requested before, so I'm recurring / repeating this request lol. I know you can use formulas but it's a workaround with limitations.

Right now I have to use my Outlook calendar for recurring tasks which prevents me from using the Smartsheet calendar which leaves me managing tasks using both Smartsheet and Outlook, and I would really like to just use Smartsheet only.

Add the ability to recur specific DAYS of the week/month/year or specific DATES of the month, year along with the option to have specific TIME am/pm and your calendar will get more use & will be published more to overlay with calendars like Outlook some of us have to use at work.

This feature is badly needed. For maintenance scheduling it is essential. I love Smartsheet but I need this capability. So if it still doesnt get done I regretfully going to have to switch to a new app

Agreed, this doesn't seem like a terribly difficult feature to add given the other complexities in this tool. Smartsheet solves so many other problems for our team that it's both mind-boggling and frustrating to see the push-back from the developers. Disappointed...

Smartsheet is a new tool we are using at work and this is the #1 question I get from the 15 people we have on Smartsheet.  Is there any update on this?

I see there is no reply in relation to when this feature of recurring tasks might be coming?

I would really like an answer. Am evaluating Smartsheet at the moment & this is a deal breaker for a number of our users. The formula option just doesn't work the way we need it to. Other than that Smartsheet seems to do what we require.

Really hoping there is an update on this?
