Offline option

Is there any updates regarding implementing an option to work offline on smartsheet?

Hi Suzaan, we dont have any near term plans to add the ability to work on Smartsheet offline but we are tracking feedback for this request and I'll add you vote for it!

Hi there,

I like your software and would like to use it but the offline thing is a must, I am smaller towns where sometimes there is no data, or if your on a road trip, jobsite and would love to keep working.

An approach some users will take is to export the sheet to Excel if they need to work on it offline, then copy and paste the changes from Excel to Smartsheet.

pasting cells back is not a solution. Please just work on proper offline access

I would really like to have off-line access to Smartsheet and then have it sync back up when I reconnect. Add me to the list voting for that feature add!!!

I'd love to have even webforms available offline and sync when the person imputting the data is back online. 

 

Ie if travelling and away from internet or remote access, input via webform then have the data captured for when you are back in range?

Hi, checking in on offline option as well.  It may also be useful for recurring themes to be consolidated in one conversation or, at a minimum, sort the forum by date.  I 'm not certain if there are more recent posts about working offline.

I agree. It would be a huge benefit to have offline capability given that internet access is not always a guarantee. I would like to make smartsheet more central to all of my business processes, but not having the offline option has kept me from fully implementing the smartsheet.

Thanks for keeping the dialogue alive.

How about letting us know why it is not a near-term plan - not on strategy, not possible? There's a lot riding on decisions to use or not use a tool.

Considering moving to SS from Project.  But must be able to work off-line.  Business takes me to many places without internet.
