Conditions within a Notification

I am building out a notification to send a client updates (daily).  One thing the client is asking for is not to see older data (the same stuff over and over).   

We have an approval date, and if data is more than 3 days old, we want it to fall off the notification.  Will the condition in the screenshot below work for what I am looking for?
