2 week task for 2 hours each day

Is it possible to have a task with a duration of say 2 weeks, but only allocate a fraction of the day’s hours to the assigned resource?

 

For example, John Smith is assigned Qlik development that will last for 2 weeks, but will only be developing for 2 hours/day. 

 

I know it’s possible to change the default length of a day from 8 hours to something else (link here), but that is not really helpful if some resources are devoted all day to a task whereas others are multitasking.

You may achieve that by splitting entire task for subtasks (days in this case) and apply 2h Durations for each day.
