How can I stop Smartsheets.com from sorting my online spreadsheet alphabetically by the first column?



I have pasted this spreadsheet directly from Excel 2016 and I want it to stay sorted in the original order; I don't want the spreadsheet to be sorted by alphabetically by the first column within Smartsheets.com.



How can I prevent Smartsheets.com from sorting my online spreadsheet alphabetically (so it will retain its original sorting)?

If you want to stop Smartsheet sorting automatically without having to reapply filters/sorts, first hide the Primary Column (the one in bold) and then paste your data in from Column 1 onward (or whatever your remaining columns are named).
