Hello everyone,
I would like to reference multiple cells in the same column from sheet B onto sheet A. I thought I could create a reference formula on Sheet A to pull the value from sheet B and then drag that same formula down onto the rest of the cells but noticed that the formula does not change if it is dragged. Is there a way to achieve this? (I have to pull the values from one column in Sheet B onto Sheet A and it is 1000+ cells) Please assist.
Thank you!
Why do you need to drag the formula?
Are you trying to refer to a specific range and that range changes depending on which cell is 'asking'?
Can you post the formula you are trying to drag?

Hello,
I would like to clarify and say that I am only referencing from Sheet B (sorry for the confusion, there is no formula). I need a whole column from Sheet B to be referenced onto Sheet A. I thought I could reference the first cell from Sheet B onto Sheet A and then drag that reference to the rest of the cells in the column. I attached pictures to show what I would like to accomplish. The only solution I have found so far is to reference one cell at a time.
If you doing a sequential set of cells and only get their values, I would suggest cell linking instead of a formula. It is a simple process to select a range, copy the data, and the paste-special for links to the data.

I am trying to create a sheet summary, where the field is a formula that relies on a contact card within a column. However, it keeps returning a result of "#NO MATCH". The columns involved are, 1:) Priority (symbol column) for Up, Unchanged, and Down, and 2:) Contact Card column. I am trying to get a sheet summary formula…
Hello, I have a workflow where, when a team member checks a checkbox, Smartsheet automatically sends an email to themselves containing merge fields that are used as a customer email draft. The challenge is that this activity typically happens on a deadline day, and a team member may need to generate 30 or more of these…
Hi all, reaching out to see if of you have ideas; I'm hoping this makes sense: I'm having some trouble getting my formulas to pull data in correctly. I currently have a sheet (primary data) where I have data in rows where each row is a single project, with columns identifying persons, $ values, unique project identifier,…
