Usability Recommendation: Drag Cells for Dates in the Gantt Chart

I am creating a Gantt chart to track the tasks for a project I am working on. To indicate the timeline required for each task, instead of having to enter dates into the cells, it would be great to be able to click a start date and drag the mouse to the end date.
