How to send the key cells of one row to related person

Hello, 

thanks for the last reply, it is very useful for me.

Today I have a problem of how to send the key cells of one row to related person.

To be more clarify, there are one row data need the boss to approve, if he approved the row then send the result to other dept. but we do not want other dept. to know all of the information, only parts of cells need to see, how can I do that. 

In other words, we need send parts of key cells in one rows to concern person. How do that? Thanks!

Hi Dani,

You could do this with Alerts & Actions. Send an update request or notification to the other department when the approval request gets approved by the boss. (depending on what access the other department should have)

Thanks your help and reply.

I used this function before, and but it will send the whole row information to the other department.

I wonder if there are some solutions that can send the part of the cells information to the related workmates.

In the Alert and Action under Delivery Settings, you can control what columns are sent in the notification. Screenshot attached.
