Does anyone know how to sign input Smartsheet forms? I know that Smartsheet and Docusign integrates. However, I'm not sure how that would work in input forms.
Hi Chadwick,
The form is filled out and sent to a sheet, and then you can initiate the signing process.
There are more details, but in short, this is how it works.

Hi Chadwick
while you cannot at present complete a Smartsheet Form and sign in a box for eg initiating a contract, there is new functionality appearing all the time to help create intuitive workflows.
Docusign integration with Smartsheet has been around for a while, is really good and can handle lots of complex docs like Renting property, guarantors etc but it certainly isn't cheap, but it is good and worthwhile if it gives you exactly what you need.
More recently Iphone and Androids have been able to "Annotate" photos or screenshots which can include a "Finger Signature" like my sample attached and the sort of thing a delivery driver would ask for.
These "annotated Photos" can be uploaded to Smartsheet for Proof of... or a requirement for... and apart from explaining to your users how to do it the first time, there is no cost attached. So I suggest you do some testing with touchscreen devices?
Stepping outside of Smartsheet Form entry we can use Appsheet as the user interface for Smartsheet held data, which can capture signatures within a form (your initial request) or we have property inspectors who take photos of issues on their phones, circle the faulty areas, then provide some written text on what the resolution needs, click send and the HQ database is updated in Smartsheet, Excel or Google so the PM can take action collaboratively.
Hope some of that inspires you to look a little deeper? If you get stuck, we can help and good luck.
PS you can also sign PDFs now too!

Hi, "Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required." is the very first line in the body of every form I create. I don't remember seeing it before (unless you missed filling out a required field; then you would see the message). Is there a way to turn it off or change it? None of my forms are in English so the message is…
I have a sheet that I pull into a report. The report I then want to use to make a stacked bar chart and put into a dashboard if I can. The columns I am trying to make into a stacked chart are: Lead, project and phase. The issue is that there are several leads and I need the stacked bar chart to show in different colors for…
I have a dynamic view setup for a dashboard that has NO restrictions And on the Sharing tab, I have a Group that I created as the additional share access to the view But the individuals in the Group still cannot see the data from the dashboard. Am I missing something? Because when I share the view to them individually…
