#Unparseable error
Hi I am new to Smartsheet, I am trying to calculate a row call Total Billable for each month of for our total amount of jobs completed.
The format I'M using is as follows: -
=SUM(Total Billable820:Total Billable828) it comes up with the error #Unparseable
Can someone please advise me what I am doing wrong?

Hi,
Try this,
=SUM([Total Billable]820:[Total Billable]828)
When you have spaces or numbers in the columns, you have to put the column name in brackets.
Depending on your specific use case and sheet structure it could be helpful to use hierarchy with parent-child relationship to sum a section like above.
=SUM(CHILDREN())
Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.
I hope this helps you!
