How to add time to trigger update request

We have a create date/time column and a status column.  The default status when a new item (row) is added is "Not Started".  I am trying to take the date/time created, plus 4 hours, and if the status has not been updated I want to generate an update request.

Is this possible?  I read that the automated update requests can only be triggered when something in the row changes so I added a column for "Update Request Needed", I just can't figure out how to add 4 hours to the time part of the date/time field.

Smartsheet does not currently allow the calculation of time like this.
