Getting notifications on certain rows not all rows

Hi,

Is there a way in which i can get notifications on updates to rows which have a specific criteria in and not all rows.

Essentailly what i am lookng for is something similar to the below;

If a row contains SH in a specific collumn, i would want to receive a notification on it.

However, if the same collumn has DS i dont want to get a notification on that row as it is not to do with me.

Any help would be great. Thanks

You could use the Zapier application. You can get 5 zaps for free. If you set up the zap to email you when SH shows up everytime on that sheet it is considered 1 zap.

To continue on Stephanie's comment, Azuqua is another (more expensive/more featured) app that would also work.

Another option:

-Add a Modified (Date) column to your sheet

-Add a Date column to your sheet

-In the Date column, add a formula that shows the date from the Modified (Date) column IF the corresponding Assigned To column cell contains "SH"

-Set notification for the Date column

With this, whenever a change is made in the row, the Modified (Date) will update, which will update the Date and will trigger a notification. Because the Date column will only show a date (and not time) you will only get one notification a day.
