auto-numbering Created (Date) grayed out

I am trying to have my sheet keep track of new entries created using my form. I found that I could use Auto-Numbering and select Created (Date), by looking through the forums here. However, when I try to change the properties of my form, the Create (Date) option is grayed out. Can someone explain what might be going on?

If it is grayed out, that means it is already being used on the sheet.

Paul - Thank you! It appears that one of the other admin's created a row for the same reason I had, but for their form (and had it all the way over to the far right of the sheet). I just used their column for my purposes, and got what I needed.
