Auto Email Notification

We are using the automated email notification to notify all shared users of changes to a sheet on a weekly basis.

The email received by the person who made the majority of the updates does not show their updates, yet these are shown on the email received by all other shared users. 

I've not come across this issue previously but it maybe that I just haven't noticed it - or I have set up the notification incorrectly.

Can someone advise what it should do and if there is a way of ensuring that the person updating also receives a complete view of all the updates to include their own?

Hi Natalie,

There is a setting in the Settings (right upper corner) > Personal Settings > Notifications > Include my changes in sheet notifications.

Ah! fab, thank you.  

Is there a way as system adminstrator that I can ensure that all users have this selected or do I need to ask individuals to ensure that this is checked?

Send Alerts or Requests on the Changes You Make

If you’ve set up an alert or request with yourself as the recipient, but you're not notified when you edit the sheet, you’ll want to turn on notifications for changes you make. See Adjusting Personal Settings for more information on changing settings in your account.
