I am using Smartsheets to track time, and have run into an issue that I have to believe there is a workaround for. We need our associates to track their time with specific job and client IDs. This can be done by making the time tracking entries show as a pull down menu of codes. But, when we get new jobs or clients, there doesn't seem to be a way to link this list of jobs to the job ID column in everyones sheet. Therefore, it is easy to enter job IDs incorrectly, and there is no verification that entered data is valid. Is there a way to link a pull down menu to a master sheet of job IDs and clients? That way it could be managed in one place, and ripple to everyone's time sheet.
