How to Create a Chart without Numeric Value

Hello Everyone,

Certified newbie here. I just need your help on how am I going to create a chart in Smartsheet without a numeric value. 

Shared you the screenshot of an example but I covered the sensitive information for security purposes.

I wanted to create a pie graph that displays number of not started projects and completed projects per user.

The only way to chart data is to include numbers so your best bet is to either create a summary section at the top or bottom of your sheet, or use cross-reference formulas to summarize your data in a new sheet. You could use a countifs formula in a new sheet to count the number of not started, and another formuala to count the number of completed.
