User sees only empty report sheet

Dear all

I have created a report from a task list that shows only the tasks owned by a specific user. That user is not a licensed user but I shared the report with him and assigned Editor rights. When he opens the report link, he sees no entries but only the column headers. What did I miss? Any suggestions would be welcome

Good morning Stefan,

In order for the report to show data the original sheet where the information is stored must also be shared with the user. You can share an attachemnt and have a PDF or Excel hard copy of the report email automatically to anyone. You are not alone is asking this, there are other discussions related to this topic and I am one who also desires to share access to a report where the main data is not stored.
