If/And formula

Hello experts,

I know this question has been asked before. But I have been trying for a while, and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

I Need to create an IF formula with 2 criteria.

If my target date is empty and it is greater than today, then don't do anything, if not return a 1. attached you will see a print screen of my formula.

I appreciate the help in advance.

Try this:

=IF(AND(ISBLANK([Target Date]@row), [Target Date]@row < TODAY()), 1, "")
