Reducing clicks with Highlight Changes

Here's a suggestion for how Smartsheet could reduce clicks for the Highlight Changes feature.

 

I personally love this feature in general, but I often just want to toggle it on and off again.

 

So I thought it might be useful if the button were bifurcated into two separate functions:

 

-Toggle Hightlight Changese on/off
-Adjust duration and color

 

I made a very rough version of the idea in Snagit which can be seen here:

 

 

 

I'm sure a true UI desinger could purty this up quite a bit, but you get the idea.

 

This would mean that it would be one click to turn on/off the highlighting. 

 

The most recent duration setting would be persistent, so at any moment you could see what's changed based on your latest setting of 1 hour, 1 day, etc.
