Title or Category Lines - not a task and not showing in Calendar daily reminder?
Hi, Im using Smartsheet Gant chart for an overview of my numerous R&D project over the years. I got first indentation as the YEAR, then a Project Name, then various tasks in that project name.
I like that the project name is considered a task and do show up in my calendar (iCal). However, the YEAR for me, and any upper indentation level, I used more for a categorization and is not a task...is there a way to write info on a line in smartsheet that would not be considered a task per se and would show on the calendar at the end please?

If I understand your question, you want to omit parent rows from your calendar, correct?
While in your calendar view, select the Gear icon on the left toolbar. In the menu, uncheck the box for "Display Summery Tasks".
This will hide any parent rows from your calendar.
