Automated Update Request rule is in red font
I created an update request to be automatically sent today @ 11AM Central time. The time has come and gone and the request criteria is now in red font.
It appears the request was sent, but why is the criteria in red font now?
My "Contact" column is a contact list column. All fields are contacts with valid email addresses.

Have you verified that the update request did in fact send?

Yes. I've already received updates from some of the recipients.

Could there possibly be one or more invalid emails in the recipients' list or that not all have responded? I personally don't deal in update requests a whole lot, but when I have, I've never seen that.

Paul - I suppose that's possible and the most probable reason. Ironically, I'm sending the update request to people to review their contact information.
I use update requests frequently and have never seen this before which is what prompted my question to the community.

Haha. Gotta love irony. Well hopefully someone else chimes in that can help you better than I can. I'm kind of curious now myself.
