Import contacts for templates

After importing contacts (csv file) into a sheet we're using as a template and then sharing that sheet for others to use, is it possible for the contacts to remain in the template? I am trying to eliminate every smartsheet user from having to import contacts individually and simply do the work upfront on our templates.

Hello,

If you’re on a Business of Enterprise plan, you could consider adding people as free collaborators on your account. This will auto-populate the Contact List dropdown with names or emails matching the values entered in the Contact List column —as long as the contact can be found in the User Management form. More on inviting people to your plan in our help center: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/795920-manage-users-multi-user-plan

You could also consider adding preferred contact values in the Values box of the Contact List column. Please note, there is a limit of 50 contacts in the Values box. More on this can be found here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/504619-column-types#contactlist
