Why doesn't my mouse wheel work within a sheet?
Scrolling through a big sheet with the wheel on my mouse would be great. The scroll wheel works in every other thing I do - including parts of Smartsheet- just doesn't work within a sheet.
I've changed settings on my mouse but still does not allow me to scroll within a sheet- forces me to grab the slider on the side or bottom to move up/down/left/right to navigate within a sheet.
Any suggestions appreciated.

George,
Which browser are you using? I'm in Chrome, FIrefox, and Edge (multiple accounts).
Edge is not great response, but the other two seem to be OK.

I"m using Chrome Version 48.0.2564.97 m. My colleagues use exactly the same browser and mice with no problems.

It could be an extension issue. Try this,
Go to Chrome > Menu > Settings > Extensions > disable all your extensions. Then close and reopen Smartsheet and try scrolling.
Are you able to scroll after disabling extensions? If you are, try adding them back one at a time and test Smartsheet each time to narrow down which extension is causing the issue.
Let us know if you still cannot scroll after disabling extensions or what the extensions was that is causing this.

Yes! I disabled the extension:
Logitech Smooth Scrolling
6.65.62
and now I can scroll with my mouse wheel.
Thanks for the help with this. Makes my life much easier

Happy to hear you were able to narrow it down!

Ditto. I just went in after reading your post on Logitech Smooth Scrolling and it fixed it without messing with any other extensions.

Yep, Disabling the the smooth scrolling extension in Chrome worked for me too. Thanks for the solution!

I know it's almost 6 months after the last comment but I'm a new user to SS and this was driving me crazy! I'm a big wheel user. I also disabled this extension in Chrome and it fixed it. Thank you SO much!

Great, thanks for tip. Had the same problem and that fixed it.

This should be in the FAQ so that it is easier to find. Amazing tip!

Removing smooth scrolling extension worked for me also.
