Formula DATE

Hi

I'm trying with the formula = DATE subtract months but I get #INVALID EJ: 05/18/2020 to 12/18/19, when I say that subtract 6 months I get an error but if the subtraction is within the same year the error does not come out, how should the formula apply?

Hello,

 

You may be able to achieve the desired result utilizing a Date function by subtracting the amount of desired days, this will adjust into the previous year. Note: ensure this is within a Date Column.

 

=DATE(2019, 1, 1) - 1
