Web form - How to select more than one on Drop Down List

I am designing a web form with drop down list for some fields. I want the ability to select more than one item from the list. How can i do that? Thanks

  • You cannot do this with radio buttons. Instead, you need to add multiple checkboxes (be sure to choose caption to the right). This means that each checkbox (or choice) will need a separate column in your sheet. You can hide these columns if it gets too busy. You add the question by inserting a customized HEADING.

Jennifer is correct! Here's what it could look like:

  • Follow up question on the checkbox option, when i select that option, there isn't the additional box that you can enter your value list. Did i miss something?

Thank you guys for your guidance. I am still new to Smart Sheet and learning.

Each box is a checkbox column and there are two ways to add a value. The first is to name the column in the sheet, whatever you want the displayed value to be. The other option is to add a custom label to the field when you are editing the web form.

    Hi everyone,

I'm pleased to announce that the Multi Select Dropdown project is in development.

Thank you for the passion, and thanks for the patience.
