Opening a Report from a Chart Widget

I have a dashboard with a Chart widget. The "Edit Interaction" behavior is set to open a Smartsheet item, specifically a report. Is it possible to open that report in a separate browser tab? This is my second dashboard, and I'm struggling to see how to make that happen. My first dashboard was prior to the last Smartsheet upgrade, and those reports open in separate tabs. I assume that was the default behavior because I didn't (intentionally) do anything to make that happen. Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe if you choose "Go to a URL..." under "Edit Interaction" and enter the URL for the Smartsheet item, it will open in a new browser window.

Thank you - this did open in a new browser window. I'll update my interactions to Go to a URL. I guess the only downside to this approach is that each report must be published to generate the link. Does that in itself present any issues?

I don't believe it would HAVE to be published. Just grab the link from the bottom of the Share window.
